app.torrentech.org is the download-only web catalog. You can browse and search without a wallet. To download, connect an Ethereum web wallet add-on on Arbitrum One and pay TTT. Pinning, free download, and upload stay in the desktop app.

1. Get a wallet on Arbitrum One

The web site uses an Ethereum web wallet add-on that provides window.ethereum — on Arbitrum One (Ethereum L2, chain ID 42161).

  1. Install an Ethereum web wallet add-on such as Rabby or MetaMask.
  2. Create a new wallet or import an existing one. Back up the seed phrase offline.
  3. Add or switch to Arbitrum One. Wallet add-ons usually offer it under Networks → Add network.
Good to know

Browsing and searching never spend TTT. You only need the wallet when you Pay.

2. Get a little TTT (and ETH for gas)

The web site has no free download. Nobody holds TTT at genesis. Use the desktop app (free download there, once per cooldown) and pin, or get TTT first.

3. Open the site and connect

  1. Go to app.torrentech.org.
  2. Click Connect Ethereum web wallet add-on and approve the connection.
  3. Confirm the wallet is on Arbitrum One.
  4. Browse and search are free; Pay burns TTT.

4. Find a release and pay

  1. Browse or search for an artist, album, label, or tag.
  2. Open a release to see cover, details, and available formats (FLAC, MP3, …).
  3. On a format row, choose Pay N TTT — burns N TTT (default 2). Your wallet will ask to approve the Access contract, then confirm the payment. Burn is intentional: it frees mint headroom for pin rewards (see tokenomics).
  4. Wait for the transaction to confirm. Download buttons for that format then become available. Album audio on the mesh is encrypted; the app decrypts it after you pay.
Staff

Moderators and admins have a separate staff download (no TTT) for review. Ordinary users only see Pay.

Comments and votes

Threads display on the web catalog. Posting a comment or Good / Bad needs a Ceramic sign-in in the desktop app. The web Details view may still show those controls after wallet connect; those writes fail without that session.
