Final Transmission (1:24) Review: Another release from Mathew Pelton, this time even better! We can now clearly recognize the Pelton's style which ranges from Ambient to Experimental, incorporating his own characteristic melodies. Of course, there are some Drum 'n' Bass and Dubstep influences too, generally the listener can feel the Pelton is free to express himself being not affraid to mix the vibes, emotions and all kinds of different sounds. This album will be appreciated by any serious electronic music admirer. Message from author: Well, this is my second release for Torrentech, and I'm very proud of it for three reasons. For one, it didn't take me a year to record it (I started writing music for this right after the release of Musique Schizophrene, so...five months?). For another, it's about twice as long as the EP, which was my goal for this release. Finally, according to some of my peers, both electronica fans and producers alike, I have achieved a much more mature sound than my previous EP. That being said, I hope you enjoy Bedroom Transmissions and its musical tale of some techno-producing kid and his struggles to change the way the world listens to music through transmitting his bedroom compositions all throughout the internet. ...Okay, maybe this album isn't THAT deep. Anyway, please download and enjoy!

Am I wrong? I'd be interested to find that out. I personally downloaded the rar and then used it to seed, but I do agree with Kolor about having two copies of things on a disk. I happen to be a ridiculous data whore and I have like 2+TB across five disks but it adds up and rar isn't especially great compression. Here it only saves ~5.4MB and that hardly seems worth it. I mean, the tracks are already MP3 compressed. Also, it looks to me like some of the tracks are 192 and others are 256, what's up with that? A fine release though! Care to post your set-up for us curious folks?

A fine release though! Care to post your set-up for us curious folks? Well, the reason that the bitrates are different is that when I recorded them to mp3, I forgot to select 256kbps (which is what I usually use), so some of the tracks came out as 192. Whoops. I probably should have checked that before I released it. As far as my setup goes, it's pretty much all software-based. I'm using Sony ACID 6.0 with a bunch of VSTs (FM8, Massive, Reaktor 5, Pro-53, d-blue glitch, and built-in effects). I made Nichiyoubi (and most of Musique Schizophrene) with Reason 3 though. I use an M-Audio Oxygen8 as a MIDI controller, but that's about it in terms of hardware. Thanks for all the compliments, guys! Hopefully I'll have an album cover done sometime soon. -Mathew

Really great work, only mid album and already loving it. Great job and keep up the good work. Hope to see more stuff in the future.
Also I was curious, do the artist or torrentech provide CDs for sale of the net releases? I know there free to download but I'd be willing to buy them all on CDs. I'll support free music any day.
