I like Soundcloud for following artists, and getting some dL and mixes.

I usually buy music from addichtech, but have been disappointed with their site lately..Can't find anything to groove to, mang!

Yeah I was going to say Ektoplasm as well. DJ Basilisk is a true player The only other music-specific tracker I use is what.cd, I am fairly new to trackers honestly. I chill in a few smaller forums where good music can sometimes be found, and occasionally I'll get on 4chan or 420chan's music boards and find something I like. And Cloudsound FTW!

If you speak about dubstep, yeah db is nice but almost not worth trying to get there, most of the stuff you find there is to be found in here as well. People are just thinking too much about that site, it's not so awesome...

I've been getting most music from what.cd; but it's like IRMA said as well: just get good at searching for what you need on the web, public p2p is probably much larger than we can conceive, just gotta keep an eye out for quality.

When sleeping, I usually play this(#) radio or other slow ambient 24/7 stations at low volume.

I personally couldn't find any use in waffles acc once I got to what.

Btw it seems to me like rutracker got cleaned up somehow... 1st my acc got removed (my friends too) and I can't find pretty much anything interesting there anymore (with another acc). But maybe just accident - inactivity + unlucky searches.

ektoplazm as previously noted is amazing and has lots of free lossless album downloads of various genres. rutracker is another site that comes to mind. there are some gems on there, many in lossless.

FullVibes Radio has its moments when it delivers.

I think as far as music goes what.cd is the top dog really. Other than that and this, sometimes I hop on clubland.lv for individual tracks since you can't upload individual tracks on trackers.

Waffles and What are both are great sites. I use waffles more cus i have a better ratio there.

Those RIPs are shitty or watermarked. Artists cut their songs on purpose not to get ripped from there. If you are enjoying bad quality tracks you can always find a way to RIP the shitty copy of the song.

I for one hate soundcloud, as a good portion of the music posted is transcoded. And as for 4shared, well i just would never actually consider that as a place to go for music.
