I got an offer I couldnt refuse for my pioneer cdj 800 mk2's as they are decreasing in value extremely quick. I am looking at buying either a pair of cdj 850s or 900s. So far the added features of the 900s dont seem to be worth the extra cost. What are your opinions on this? Also I dont have much experience with other cdjs that are not pioneer. Anyone have any suggestions about good/reliable non pioneer cdjs?

I am looking to upgrade soon as well.....from my CDJ 200s lol
Honestly though there isn't much I really need because the 200s have it all. The scratch effects on the 800 + are cool tho. I honestly don't know. |

I ended picking some cdj 850s off of amazon. They wouldn't ship to Canada so I need to cross the border to get them. Pain in the ass but will save loads of money.

And the CDJ850 have what exactly that makes them so much better than the 800s? They don't decrease in value as much?

I have been using my pair of 1210s for 14 years now and finally last month I bought my first pair of cd players. I was looking at the pioneers but they cost so much and I wasnt really sure if i wanted cd players. Really the only reason I did was because lugging 1200s around to a gig is difficult. I ended up buying a pair of Numark ndx400s for I think $175 USD a piece. They seem to have everything I need currently. A platter, scratch mode, pitch change, play tracks from cd or usb, cue points, loops, and a brake. The only things that is weird is the brake also starts a track slow if left on so it's a reverse of the brake which I don't see why you would ever want that. Also the lock pitch is useless with timecodes which is what I use. The only other thing is I cant seem to find travel cases for them yet but for under $400 USD I think they are amazing. I had only briefly played with the pioneer cdjs so I dont have much to compare it with and these probably aren't as good but I honestly haven't found any issues as of yet.

Does anybody have any advice on the CDJ 350's? I know they have Rekordbox technology, are they even worth getting or at that point should you just save up for some 800/850/900's?

i have ndx800s and theyre great for me.
once you get famous people will provide you with high end cdjs to play gigs so fuck it. dont waste your money trying to keep up with the joneses... just try to get on some once in a while so you remember how to pull your tricks with em |
